• To serve as a centre for consolidating the university’s experts and expertise in the development and research of Indigenous communities in the Nusantara region.

• To serve as a centre for optimising the potential of the university’s experts and expertise in areas related to the Indigenous communities of the Nusantara.

• To serve as a centre for enhancing expertise through focused, multidisciplinary research activities.

• To provide systematic, professional expertise and consultancy services related to Indigenous communities at both national and international levels.

• To implement activities within the identified niche of human capital development for Indigenous communities.

• To establish strategic partnerships aimed at achieving excellence in collaboration with Indigenous communities, relevant agencies and stakeholders.

• To serve as a reference centre on matters related to Indigenous communities.
